Vinyl Flooring

A durable, versatile and easy to maintain flooring product that is moisture resistant, vinyl is ideal for kitchens and bathrooms. However, with the high definition patterns in today's quality vinyl products it can be used in any room in your home.

The two most common formats of vinyl flooring are sheet and tile and, while they differ in size, how they are prepared and installed, they are both made of the same material. Vinyl plank flooring, or Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT), is a relatively new product that is available in various colors that imitate stone, ceramic and hardwood flooring.

Sheet vinyl comes in a six or twelve foot wide roll cut to measure and can be felt-backed that is installed with an adhesive or fiberglass-backed that is installed without adhesives. Vinyl tiles are manufactured in 12 or 18 inch squares with a self-adhesive backing and can be installed with or without acrylic grout that resists staining.

Plank vinyl flooring is manufactured in strips that lock together to give your floor a clean, seamless finish and is available with a peel-and-stick backing or a backing that has to be glued. The composition of vinyl plank flooring can vary from one manufacturer to another so it is important to use an adhesive that the manufacturer recommends.
